He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alice Renzie (Aleksandra) and John Renzie; his sons, Don and Chad; his wife Jessie; his sons, Trish, Braydon, Will, Tayler and Jaxon; his sister Rose (Lana); and his sister-in-law Iris (Sandra, family: David).

“Jessie, I’m so sorry to hear of Dean’s passing and of his health struggles of late. As you know, I grew up in Procter with Dean and his family, and he and I travelled around Europe together in 1962. It is sad to hear of our contemporaries moving on but I guess that’s also a natural part of life. I wish you all the very best of health and hiking in your senior years. Sincerely, Ron Garner”
