She was predeceased by: her parents, Samiso Murakami and Masa Murakami; her sisters, Emiko (Mike), Satako (Jim) and Akiko (Tom); and her siblings' children, Patricia and Roy.
She is survived by: her husband Yosh; her daughters, Wendy and Gale (Mark); her granddaughter Christine (Nik); and her great grandchild Ares.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Thompson Funeral Service (613 Ward St, Nelson, BC V1L1T2). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at 701 Lakeside Dr, Nelson, BC V1L1T2.
