He was predeceased by : his wife Theresa; his parents, Joseph Demarais and Alice Demarais; his sister Lillian; and his children, John, Gerry and Lisa Demarais.

He is survived by : his grandson Robert Demarais; and his children, Frederick, Darlene, Kenneth, Dennis, Mervin, Viola, Stanford, Darren, Derek, Cheryl and Gerald. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, godchildren, family and friends.
