He is survived by: his grandsons, Moanie, Stewy, TooToo and Jayden; his son Christopher McIvor; his father James McKay (Irene Richard); his parents-in-law, Kenny and Bertha Levassuer; his sisters, Catherine Levasseur and Lorna Mousseau; his aunt Mary Doreen; his uncles, Johnny, Kenneth, Rodger, Wilfred and Rupert; his wife Kim; his children, Ashtyn (Sarah), Antonia (Tyler), Austin, Amberlyn, Arieal (Justin) and Dennis Racette (Renee); his grandchildren, Reylin, Jeylin, Reynold Jr., Deland, Tyler, Allarah, Kayson, Tailyn, Dwayne Jr., Ryland, Kielan, Braydon Racette, Brooklyn, Rehtaeh, Dennis Jr., Kennedy, Kinew, Kierra, Angle and Cherish; and his siblings, Corrine, Bonnie, Roxanne, Maryanne, Angie, Greta, Ward, Darren and Merle. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces.
A wake was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Sandy Bay Community Complex (Sandy Bay Community Complex). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
