It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Shelestynski (Gladstone, Manitoba), who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his mother Maria; his siblings, Olga, Matt, Nick, Walter and Elizabeth; his wife Louise; his children, Linda (Jerry), Garth, Darrin and Grant (Ana); and also, Dymetro, Olga and Matt. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Among his biggest disappointments in recent years was the pandemic when he wasn't allowed to play.
