He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Thiessen and Diedrick Unrau (Dick); his siblings, Mary, Pete and Jake; and his granddaughter Jo-Anne.
He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Martin (Roxie), Glenda (Corny), Harold (Karen), Janice (Peter) and Norman (Angela); and his siblings, Lena, Katherina (Tina), Abe and Susan. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Memorial donations may be made to the MacGregor Health Centre in John's memory.
