He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam and Rachel; his brothers, Sammy, Elie, Steve, Tim and Lorenz; his nephew Randy; his brothers-in-law, Willie, George and Herman; and his parents-in-law, John Waldner and Sarah Waldner.
He is survived by: his wife Justina; his children, Justin (Naomi), Lisa, Linda (Jonathan) and John-Steven; his grandchildren, Jasen, Gabriel, Kyle, Adrian, Joshua, Brielle and Evelyn; and his siblings, Margaret, Myra (Simon), Barbara, Judy (Sarah), Helen, Kathryn (Paul), Joseph (Thelma) and Sara-Ann (Evan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
