It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Mauthe (Plumas, Manitoba), leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Phyllis departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Phyllis. Though Phyllis may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reynold Buschau (Lolly) and Neta Buschau; and her husband Ted Mauthe. She is survived by: her children, Kelly (Leslee Laing) and Joy; her grandchildren, Mitchell Cooper (Regan) and Emily Den Otter (Eric); and her siblings, Bruce Buschau (Laurel) and Valerie Buschau (Sam Marcotte). She is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
A burial was held on Sunday, January 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Plumas Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 4th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Plumas Community Hall (223 Burrows Ave, Plumas, MB R0J1P0).
