He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Schettler and Katie Schettler; his parents-in-law, Cameron and Mary Bell; his siblings, Donald Schettler (Marina) and Irene Moore (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Jean Moscrip (Walter) and Jack Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Bell; his children, Karen Ferguson (Craig), Beverley Davie (Lawson), Glenn Schettler and Wayne Schettler (Sharni); his grandchildren, Lynn (Joel), Mark (Stacey), Kristyn (Chad), Scott (Chelsea), Erin (Paul), Jennifer (Rylin), Jacey (Sam), Taylor (Haley) and Carter (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Owen, Alex, Kallie, Harper, Brynlee, Sebastian, Elizabeth, Tate, Sloane, Vaughn, Lane and Kippan; his sister Bernice Patterson (Russell); and his sister-in-law Shirley Bell.
