He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Short and Margaret Short (Finlinson); his wife Jessie Walsh (Walsh); and his siblings, Bill (Eva), Mona (Sterling), Eric (Vi) and Frances (Ed).
He is survived by : his sister Shirley (Phil); his children, Heather (Scott Malyon), Richard (Dianne McCormack) of Douglas, MB, Mark Wpg (Heather Tole) and Perry of Blenheim, ON; his grandchildren, Michael Smith (Kalynn Chess), Laura May and Ian Malyon; his children, Damon Short Brandon, Nolan Short Wpg, Aaron Short of Bowmanville, ON, Dylan Short and Alexanra Short of Blenheim, ON; and his great grandchildren, Silas, Lilly Smith Wpg and Sophia May. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
