He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Manning (Sear) and Edris Manning (Crawford); and his siblings, Bev, John, Harry Jr., George, Evelyn, Ruth and Betty.

He is survived by: his children, Roberta Evans (George) of Dartmouth, NS, Robin Manning (Carolyn) of Dutch Valley, NB and Rubin Manning (Karen) of Pleasant Ridge, NB; and his sister Mary Donnachie (Bill).
