He was predeceased by: his parents, Narcisse Martin (Marie Godreau) and Edmund; his siblings, Jean-Baptiste Martin, Rose Therrien, Leo Martin and Phélima Marquis; his grandson Charles Sirois; and his son-in-law Ed Zube.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Sirois; his children, Marlene Martin (late Ed Zube), Diane Martin Birdsong (Bob Archambeault) of South Deerfield, Massachusetts, Suzanne Clark of Fredericton, Judy Martin (Claude Dubé) of Glen Haven and Maurice Martin of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Michele Sirois (Stéphane), Chantal Birdsong, Jacy Birdsong, Shawn Clark (Shannon) and Danielle Kennedy (Stuart); and his great grandchildren, Alexandre, Cindy, Justin, Taylor and Leah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Edmund's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the food bank of your choice.
