He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean-Guy LaForest and Cécile LaForest (St-Amand); his sister Anne-Marie LaForest; and his father-in-law Lawrence Desjardins. He is survived by: his wife France LaForest (Desjardins); his sons, Daniel (Cindy) and Paul (Meggie) of Saint-André; his grandchildren, William, Kaytee and Cedrik; his siblings, Ginette (Mario) of St-Jacques, Chanel (Francine) of Sherwood Park, AB, Réjean (Marielle), Mario (Brigitte), Diane Moreau of Grand Falls, Gilles (Pierrette) of Grand Falls, Linda (Guy) of Montreal and Roger (Marie-Paule) of Sherwood Park, AB; and his mother-in-law Thérèse Desjardins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Grand Falls Golden Age Club (125 Manse Rd, Grand Falls, NB E3Z2X4).
