We announce the death of Germaine Powers (Grand Falls, New Brunswick), who passed away on August 31, 2026. Germaine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parent Nérie Lagacé; her brother Paul Lagacé (Edouard) of Baie-Ste; her mother Laura Lagacé (Paradis); her son Gary Powers; her grandson Tony Lajoie; and her siblings, Joachim (Rita), Alphonse (Bernice), Armande (Gos), Rachel (Alcide), Bibianne Levesque and Suzanne Lagacé.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie (Git) of Drummond, Wayne (Lily) of Hanwell, Jenny (Gilles) of Tilley and Jackie (Ken) of Grand-Falls. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Maison Funéraire O'Regan Funeral Home (515 Everard H Daigle Boul, Grand-Sault, NB E3Z 2R5). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Saint-Andre Roman Catholic Church.
