He is survived by: his wife Norma Lavallée (Côté); his sons, Shawn Poitras and Christopher Poitras (Anick Rioux) of Grand Falls; his grandchildren, Mathieu Barriault and Lily Poitras; his siblings, Suzelle of St. John's, NL, Lucie (Alyre Poitras) of Saint-André, Luc Lavallée (Kristine Michaud) of Berry Mills, NB, Gaëtan Lavallée of Sorel-Tracy, Michelle Péloquin of Sorel-Tracy, Raymond Lavallée of Sorel-Tracy and Yves Péloquin (Carolle) of Sorel-Tracy; and his siblings-in-law, Cécile Michaud (late Yvon), Anne-Marie Dastous (late Roland), Florence "Ginou" Bleicher (late Kenneth), Frederick "Tiboy" Côté, Linda Cyr (Raymond), Verna, Bédard (Jocelyn) and Judy Olmstead (David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
