He was predeceased by: his parents, Georges Levesque and Marie Levesque (Levesque); and his siblings, Théodore (late Gilberte), Normand (late Jeannette), Gilbert (late Géraldine), Alban (late Adéline), Albertine Castonguay (late Jean-Baptiste), Olga Levesque (late Gérald) and Madeleine Soucy (late Lionel).

He is survived by: his wife Clémence Fortin; his children, Manon Degrâce (Gérard) of Saint-Quentin and Fabien Levesque of Saint-André; his grandchildren, Gérard Jr., Stéphane, Mélanie, Sabrina (Sébastien), Jonathan and Jade-Naomi; his great grandchildren, Marcus, London (Aaliyah Douglas), Ava (Christian), Vegas, Oliver, Ryder, Myla and Rose; his great great grandchild Lincoln; and his brother Irvin "Bi" Levesque (late Yvonne) of Montreal. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
