He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Roy and Louise Roy (Gaudet); his wife Isabelle Cormier; and his siblings, Fernand, Albéo and Majella.

He is survived by: his brother Arnel (Lorraine) of Moncton; and his sister-in-law Étiennette Roy.
