He was predeceased by: his father Marshall Gillespie; his stepfather Frank Browne Jr.; and his brother Dana Gillespie. He is survived by: his mother Norma Gillespie (Clowes) of Grand Falls; his children, Pamela Hayward (John) and Ryan Gillespie (Dan) of Halifax, NS; his granddaughters, Isabella and Emma; his siblings, Patrick Gillespie (Linda) of Drummond, Janet Gillespie (Cindy) of Miramichi, Nancy Cain (Glen) of Saint John and Eddie Browne (Julie) of Grand Falls; and his sister-in-law Pamela Gillespie (late Dana) of Grand Falls. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
