He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Kavanaugh and Monica Kavanaugh (Rideout); his former wife Bernadette; his siblings, Gladys Gorey (late Louis), Francis, LeRoy, Cyril, Bud, John, Don, Clarence and Kevin (Betty); and his sisters-in-law, Thelma, Madeleine, Katherine "Babe", Mary Corinne and Laurencia.
He is survived by: his wife Denise; his brothers, Earl (Joan) of Brossard and Al (late Mary Corinne) of Riverview; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce (late John) of Dartmouth, NS and Betty (late Kevin) of Coquitlam, BC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the O'Regan's Funeral Home (515 Everard H Daigle Boul, Grand-Sault, NB E3Z 2R5). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Assumption Roman Catholic Church.
