With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Olga Giermindl of Knightville, New Brunswick, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Olga left this world on January 28, 2026 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Wagner and Franziska Wagner (Mörtlbauer); her husband Adolf; her siblings, Franz, Ferdinand, Marianne and Franziska; her children, Brigitte and Adi; and her grandchildren, Christoph, Michael and Stefan.
She is survived by: her children, Olga, Hansi, Eva (Sepp), Maria (Reinhold), Helga (John), Edith (Rosaire), Barb, Inge (David) and Claudia (Alex); and her sister Helen Sterzl. She is also survived by her 31 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (114 Church Ave, Sussex, NB E4E1Z1). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 16th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Giermindl's Restaurant (1130 Knightville Rd, Knightville, NB E4G1E7).
