She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown and Viola Brown (Thomas); her husband James Keirstead; her close friend George Kellow; her son Norman Keirstead; her sons-in-law, Kevin Perry, Gilbert Belyea and J. Middaugh; and her siblings, Eva Nason (Harry), Ruby Gray (Fred), Dorothy Holmes (Fred), Mary Totten (Oakley), Rose Tucker (Fred), Gertrude Thomas, Harry Mowry, Alphie Mowry (Willette), Luther Brown (Mary) and King Brown (Edna).

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Middaugh, Carolyn McAllister (Murray) and Irene Thorne (Charles); her daughter-in-law Gail Keirstead; her brother Burnard Brown (Louise); her sister-in-law Marjorie Mowry; her grandchildren, Valerie, Matthew, Steven, James and Crystal; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Alec and AJ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
