It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Walker of Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away at the age of 74, on April 27, 2025. In the sacred silence of farewell, Shirley is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Shirley's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Walker and Edna Walker (Arsenault). She is survived by: her daughter Sharlene Zak of Alberta; her granddaughter Julia of Alberta; her sister Barbara Ann Walker of Saint John; her nephews, Patrick, Timothy and Paul Joseph Montague; and her uncle Willis Walker of Hammondale.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Kiwanis Nursing Home or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
