Bertha Johnston Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bertha Johnston (Sussex, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Coleman and Eunice Coleman (Murphy); and her siblings, Glenna Mitton (Doug) and Jack Coleman (Anne). She is survived by: her husband George Johnston; her children, Pamyla Johnston (Roxanne) and Jason Johnston (Becky) of Oromocto; her grandchildren, Jacob (Chelsea), Joseph, Emma, Aubrey and Ashley (Jordan); and her brother-in-law Wally MacNeil. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wallace Funeral Home (34 Sunnyside Dr, Sussex, NB E4E5L8). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wallace Community Chapel.
