She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Johnston and Mary Johnston (Allaby); and her siblings, Karll, Cyrus, Travis, Anglin, Gorman, Winnie Parlee and Juanita Keys.
She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Jeremy Bettle (Tara) and Kara Monahan (Scott); her grandchildren, Thomas (Sadie), Jena, Jacob, Emma, Zoe and Cleo McLaughlin; her children, Thomas and Jena; and her siblings, Evelyna MacKay (Stewart), Dionne Yeomans, Humphrey Johnston (Janie) and Leverne Johnston (Gail). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wallace Community Chapel (34 Sunnyside Dr, Sussex, NB E4E5L8).
