With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Cummings of Sussex, New Brunswick, born in Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Coughlan and Frank Coughlan; her grandson Thomas Hay; her brothers, Richard (Patty) and Tom (Joanne); and her siblings-in-law, Anne Cummings and Paul Cummings.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Cummings of Sussex, NB; her children, Patti Lister (Rob) of Fredericton, NB, Janet Crealock of Fredericton, NB and Colin Cummings (Angela) of Quispamsis, NB.; her grandchildren, Meredith, Isaac, Emma, Maria Hay, Erin, Meghan Crealock, Olivia, Michael, Addison, Emily Cummings, Breanna and Kyra Lister; her siblings, Suzanne (Joe) of Moncton, NB, Carole of Saint John, NB, Joan (Phil) of Saint John, NB and Art (Lynne) of Port Coquitlam, BC.; and her in-laws, Liz (Gordon), Lew, Walter (Glenda), Rosemary (Pat) and Gerard (Cheryl). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family would prefer donations be made to the Ward's Creek Cemetery fund.
