He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sharp and Eva Sharp (Dove); his sisters, Arlene Goguen (Jerry), Joan Hawkins (Basil) and Norma Sharp Theriault; his parents-in-law, Olga and Lyman Bragdon; and his siblings-in-law, James Breau, Dorothy Wright (Jerry) and Sadie MacFarlane (John).
He is survived by: his significant other Eldena Sharp (Bragdon); his daughters, Kelly Dunfield (John) of Sussex and Tammy Norrad (Peter) of Sussex Corner; his grandchildren, Robert Dunfield, Brett Norrad (Brittany), Ryan Dunfield (Cecilia Giermindl) and Marcus Norrad; his great grandchildren, Brooks and Briar Norrad; his brother Billy Sharp (Linda) of Fredericton; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Breau of Oromocto and Howie Bragdon of Nackawic. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Kiwanis Nursing Home Heritage Room (11 Bryant Dr, Sussex, NB E4E2P3).
In memory of Dale and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sussex Health Centre Foundation – CT Scan Campaign (Sussex), Multiple Myeloma Society of New Brunswick, Sussex and Area Community Foundation, or Nursing Home Without Walls (Sussex).
