He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McFarlane and Mary McFarlane (Hunter); and his siblings, Donald, Raymond, Nelson, Lloyd, Gordon, Phyllis, Edris and Linda.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby McFarlane (Thorne); his children, Kimberly Graham (Tony), Charlene Richardson (Adam), Melody Hatfield (Chris), Stephen McFarlane (Cindy), Michael McFarlane and Dereck McFarlane (Erica); his grandchildren, Melanie, Rodney, Cody, Jody, Adam, Katie, Josh, Kirsten, Craig, Brett, Kendra, Delaney, Kyle, Cyan, Nathan, Ava, Nya, Tanner and Lukas; and his sister Anne Thorne. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Abundant Life Church (489 Main St, Sussex, NB E4E2S3).
