Ivan Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivan Smith (Sussex, New Brunswick), who passed away on November 12, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Ivan's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Smith and Sarah Smith (Walker); the mother of his children Joyce; and his siblings, Edgar Smith, Annie Ricker, Dorothy Tippit, Irene Long and Mildred Fowler.

He is survived by: his wife Pearl. He is also survived by his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Newtown Baptist Cemetery.
