With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Cooper of Sussex, New Brunswick, whose life came to an end on January 29, 2026 at the age of 100, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cooper and Florence Cooper (Pettie); his wife Alberta; his brothers, Eldon (Hazel) and Kenneth (Maxine); his granddaughter Valerie van of Brand; his brother-in-law Doug Corbett; and his nephew Dougie Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda van (Tony) of Brand and Bobby Cooper (Lisa) of Newline; his grandchildren, Ryan van (Emily) of Brand, Lisa van of Brand and Levi Cooper (Brianna); his stepgrandsons, Gavin and Dayton Raymond; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ava and Landon; and his sister Margaret Corbett of Sussex.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wallace Community Chapel (34 Sunnyside Dr, Sussex, NB E4E5L8). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
