He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley McFarlane and Sarah McFarlane (Allan); his siblings, Leon McFarlane, Stewart McFarlane, Milford McFarlane, Johnny McFarlane, Margerite Keys, Vivian Snider, Lois Esmond, Helen McLeod, Ruby McFarlane and Greta Adair; and his stepson Randy Jeffrey.
He is survived by: his wife Jane McFarlane (Carson); his children, Darryn McFarlane (Virginia) of Sussex, NB, Wanda McFarlane of Sussex, NB and Krista McFarlane (Murray Wilson) of Quispamsis, N. B; his nephew Rob Gale; his stepchildren, Curtis Jeffrey (Mary Anne), Tracey Reynolds (Ken), Tammy Jeffrey and Scott Jeffrey (Andrea); his grandchildren, Justin (Amber), Jeremy (Stephanie), Sarah (Jason), Chad (Kathyrn) and Kate (Ben); his stepgrandchildren, Michael, Devin Jeffrey, Sarah Cormier (Jordan), Brooke Jeffrey, Reese Jeffrey and Taylor Fiander (Forrest); his great grandchildren, Kolby, Savannah, Chloe, Amelia, Xavier, Everly and Avery; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Novaleigh, Piper Jeffrey, Charlotte Cormier and Beatrice Lomax; and his close friends, Faye and Greta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
