Rita Burchell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2025, Rita Burchell (Sussex, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shaw and Myrtle Shaw; her husband Calvin; her stepmother Marcella; and her sons-in-law, Dale Waterhouse and Eric Vance.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon, Pam Waterhouse (late Dale), Calvin (Londa), Shawn (Sharon), Valerie McCoy (Darren) and Lynn Roeding (Brent); her grandchildren, Karl (Sarah), Aleshya (Ryan), Hunter (Corrina), Desdamona (Tyson), Etheridge (Annie), Kelly (Rory), Jenna (Peter), Lee, Jill (Terry), Justin (Ashley), Janelle (Shae), Tabitha (Rick), Todd (Cooper), Kelsey (Joey), Kirstie (John), Richard (Megan), Kaitlyn (Adam) and Karlie; and her sisters-in-law, Cynthia McNeil and Ruth Burchell. She is also survived by 33 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
