With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steve Smith of Sussex, New Brunswick, born in Apohaqui, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2026 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Smith (Southgate) and Everett Smith; his siblings, Gerry, Roger and Starr; his sister-in-law Darlene; and his niece Joy Buchanan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joy Brown (Donald) of Apohaqui, Randy Smith of Sussex and Paul Smith (Debbie) of Sussex; and his nieces and nephews, Crystal Gray (Pat), Misty Roose, Melissa Roose (Shane), Matthew Brown (Julie), Lucas Brown, Jeremy (Anna), Geb McLaughlin, David Wark (Charity) and Doug Wark.
