With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon John Veysey (Sussex, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Veysey and Mary Veysey (Kennedy); his wife Anne; his siblings, Arthur, Noreen and Marguerite; and his sister-in-law Ruby.

He is survived by : his siblings, George Veysey of Saskatchewan, Douglas Veysey (Cathy) of Ontario, Mary Wideman of New Brunswick and Helen Burnett (Frank) of Ontario; his daughter Shari Veysey of New Brunswick; his stepsons, Bob Adair (Sylvia) of Bloomfield, NB, Maurice Adair (Barb) of Bloomfield and Ronald Adair of Bloomfield, NB; and his cousin Heather Masson of Saint John. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wallace Funeral Home (34 Sunnyside Dr, Sussex, NB E4E5L8). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Christ Church (41 Bloomfield Station Rd, Bloomfield, NB E5N4M5).
