It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Winnie Teakles of Sussex, New Brunswick, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Betteridge and Kathleen Betteridge (Ward); her husband Currie Teakles; and her son Roger Teakles. She is survived by: her children, Wendy McGinnis (Dan) of Ratter Comer, Cheryl Mason (Trent) of Sussex, Lorraine Armstrong (Robbie) of Springfield and Randy Teakles (Tina) of Sussex; her siblings, Eileen Baxter (Harvey) of Baxter's Comer, Johnny Betteridge (Dorothy) of Cedar Camp, Alice Folkins (Lorne) of Sussex and Jean Brown of Pennfield; her grandchildren, Brodie (Kim), Randi (Josh), Josh, Michaelea, Jessie, Dalton, Lucas (Katelyn), Zack, Molly (Brad), Kyle, Nick and Brianna (Dane); and her great grandchildren, Shaelyne, Barrett, Brooklyn, Landon, Greyson and Annabelle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wallace Funeral Home (34 Sunnyside Dr, Sussex, NB E4E5L8). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wallace Community Chapel (34 Sunnyside Dr, Sussex, NB E4E5L8).
