He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack and Ethel; his brother Barry; and his father-in-law Harvey Snelgrove. He is survived by : his wife Darlene; his children, Lisa Mercer (Jason) and Grant (Ella); his grandchildren, Ethan and Erica; his brother Eldon (Judy); his mother-in-law Hilda Snelgrove; and his siblings-in-law, Lee Squires (Glenn), Wendy Doyle (Dave), Frank Snelgrove (Janet) and Norm Snelgrove. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
