We bid farewell to Newton Ash of Hants Harbour, Newfoundland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 29, 2026 at the age of 77. Newton touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram and Daisy; his stepmother Laura; his sister Rona; and his parents-in-law, Ethel and Stanley Rogers.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Jeanette (Mike), Judy (Henry), Boyd (Lori Ann) and Geoffrey (Erin); his grandchildren, Erin (Mahima), Hannah (Nathan), Allison, Spencer, Monica, Hilary, Cameron, Samantha and William; and his sisters, Peggy (Ted) and Patsy (late Rick).

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
