He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Green and Priscilla Green; and his niece Dawn Martin. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his son Mark (Abigail); his granddaughter Olivia; and his siblings, John, Betty Martin (Derek) and Pauline Peddle (Derek).
