With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Minnie Matthews of Hearts Content, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 15, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ed; her son Doug; her brother Dawson Pitcher; her cousin Betty Hawman; her niece Eleana; and her father Doug.

She is survived by: her children, Donna, Brian and Ed (Susan); her grandchildren, Michael (Jessica), Leigha (Blake) and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Elsie and Jesse; her daughter-in-law Tassie; her friend Theresa Brown; her uncle Dawson; and her pet Ricky. She is also survived by Mom and Dad spent many nights with friends.

Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
