He was predeceased by : his parents, Levi and Maggie; his siblings, Wayne, Martha and Leonard; and his stepsiblings, William, Louisa, Gertrude and Lilli-Anne.

He is survived by : his wife Joan; his sons, Leigh (Linda) and Glenn (Lorrie); his daughter-in-law Marilyn Moore; his sister-in-law Evelyn Smith; and his friends, Winterton, Craig, Elsie Smith and Resting of Mary's Anglican Church. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
