Margaret Irene (Smith) Piercey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Irene (Smith) Piercey of Winterton, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband William John; her son Colin Victor; and her grandson Steven. She is survived by : her children, William (Lily), Edna Fitzgerald (Johnny), Margaret Sturge (Calvin), Jane Norris (Craig) and Helen Nielson (Howard). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 10th 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Greens Funeral Home (273 Main Rd, Winterton, NL A0B 3M0). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 11th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 11th 2023 at the Trinity United Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to United Church Cemetery fund, Winterton.
