He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Agnes, Chesley Palmer and Mother Maude Belbin; his father-in-law Basil Belbin; and his siblings-in-law, Albert Trimm and Joan Mansfield (Gerald).

He is survived by : his wife Edith Palmer (Belbin); his daughters, Sonia (Rick) and Michelle (David); his grandchild Cameron; his siblings, Gloria Green (Harold), Judy Crane (Merrill), Don and Lloyd Belbin (Josephine); his sisters-in-law, Marie Jean Louis (Denis) and Ella Sly (Reg); and his cousin Bertha Rideout (David).
