Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William John George of Winterton, Newfoundland, who passed away at the age of 82, on March 18, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur and Stella; his brothers, Stanley and Arthur; and his stepson Lorne Penny.

He is survived by : his wife Jean; his children, Anna Marie George (Gilroy), Cindy Andrews, Bill (Faye) and Brian; his grandchildren, Brian, Ashley, Matthew, Jessica, Jenna and Warren; his great grandchildren, Vincent, Kevin, Sissy, Logan, Liam, Zoey, Jax, Axel, Finn and Oaklyn; his brothers, Irving (Eileen) and Wilfred (Barbara); and his stepson James Penny. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; also a large number of relatives and friends.
