With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Lachner of Halifax, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lachner and Anna Lachner (Wikler). He is survived by: his wife Alice (Ewart); and his children, Rose Sprague (Tim) of Smiths Creek and Chris Lachner of Halifax.
