She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Buffam; her parents, Melville Royce and Agnes Royce; her siblings, Marjorie Stavenow, Kathleen Eccleshall, Robert "Bob" (late Valerie), Delmer and Eldon; the mothers of children, Cheryl Buffam (Terry), Karen Leighton (Scott) and Krista Drew (Trace); her son Douglas; and her grandson Jonathan Proulx.

She is survived by: her sister Margaret Ellen; her grandchildren, Matthew (Amber), Diana (Will), Joseph (Tara), Brett, Kurt, Nicole, Breanna and Kiera-Lynn (Luke); and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Emma, Bentley, Amelia, Neveah, Ava, Noah, Niko, Isabelle, Raya and Everly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
