He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clyde and Hester Clyde; his sister Ruth Jackson; and his grandson Ryan Clyde Gervais. He is survived by: his daughters, Ruth Henry (Ron), Colleen McKee (George) and Lena Gervais (Rick); his grandchildren, Daniel (Megan), Michael (Kendra), Natalie McDiarmid (Eric), Amber Henry, Ansley Thornton, Kit Thornton-Adams (Chris), Zachary (Cassandra), Jadzia and Xavier Gervais; his great grandchildren, Lily, Maya, Ezri, Ruby, Owen, Fiona, Tyson, Rosalie and Atticus; and his siblings, Albert, Sean (Margaret), Doreen (David), Charlie and Norma (John).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Alan R Barker Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Carleton Place Legion.
