He was predeceased by: his parents, Damasse and Cecile; his wife Michelle Lajoie; and his sibling Nicole (André Charron). He is survived by: his siblings, Micheline (Paul Landry), Suzanne Lajoie (Peter Richard), Guy Lajoie (Penny) and Helene (Kirk Mandy); and his children, Chantal Lafontaine, Amanda Lajoie, Tammy Belanger, Cathy Carlini and Julie Bissell.
