Jim Moffatt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Moffatt (Carleton Place, Ontario), who passed away on April 15, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene and Edith; and his sister Pamela Anne Moffatt. He is survived by: his wife Sue Moffatt; his sons, Aaron Moffatt and Jason Meech (Liz); his granddaughter Abigail; and his brothers, Tim Moffatt, Mike Moffatt (Lulia) and Scott LaForty (Natalie). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.

“Sue and family, please accept our sincere condolences on Jim's passing. We have many good memories of friendship when our families lived in Embrun, especially when Jeremy and Aaron played on the same hockey team. Jim was always willing to offer a ride or help with equipment. We visited often in your home. Jim had a terrific sense of humour. I remember him joking on a road trip, "there are so many 'For Sale, A Vendre' signs, he's running for election!" Wes and Kay McLeod and family”
