He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Dezell; and his siblings, Clara Dunphy, Jean Fahey, Estelle MacIsaac and Bennett MacIsaac.

He is survived by: his children, Karen McGee (Scott) and James McIsaac (Karin Dunlop); his grandchildren, Adam McGee (Dianne), Christopher McGee, William McIsaac and Robert McIsaac (Courtney); his stepchildren, Jeff Dezell and Susan Dezell; his sisters, Vera Laplante and Mildred MacIsaac; and his sister-in-law Lenora MacIsaac.
