He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Murphy and Frances Murphy (Tripp); his son Michael Murphy; and his siblings, Marion Guthrie, Mina Jones, Marjorie White, Robert Murphy and Lloyd Murphy.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Murphy, Victor Murphy (Cindy), Terry Murphy (Susan) and Nancy Hamilton Murphy; and his siblings, Leonard Murphy (late Irene) and Lena Vankerrebroeck. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
