Larry Aitkenhead Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2026, Larry Aitkenhead of Carleton Place, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Aitkenhead and Elva Aitkenhead. He is survived by: his wife Joy Roberts; his family, Gerry Scharfe (Rebecca), Diana Nield (Chad), Leeanne Logan and Mykall Logan (Corey); his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Keegan, Cameron, Nathan, Brennan, Halle, Travis, Jack and Ray; his siblings, Kenny Southwell (Jerry), Bill Southwell, Millie Rivington (Randy), Robbie Aitkenhead (Marianne) and Candy Aitkenhead (Al); and his close friend Robert Rowsell. He is also survived by his many brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barker Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 11:55 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Army Navy (315 Townline Road East, Carleton Place, ON K7C3S2).
